And yes, my 62mph was on a very wide, freshly groomed, totally empty slope in Montana.

IIRC, it was on the Big Horn slope (bottom left corner). On that map, it sure doesn't look like much. But that tiny little thing is probably bigger than Cupp Run at Snowshoe.

I've topped 50 a few times on Cupp, but I'm genuinely scared to go any faster for fear I'll hit an icy patch and wipe out. I fully trusted the terrain in Montana to be predictable.
