UNC will not be up for the last spot on Sunday. That's the point.


And if VT doesn't win 4 more they aren't going to be "up" for that spot either. The competition for that spot is not between VT and UNC (or Wake). Both of them are easily in as long as they don't choke. Easily.

The last spots are between VT and: teams like Miami, Oklahoma, Memphis, Wash St, Miss St., Kansas St., Dayton, Rutgers and several mid-majors.

The reason these top teams (who will most likely end up with 22+ wins) keep getting mentioned as "on the bubble" is to get panic-clicks by their fans.
