I make all the money. Wife stays at home. She is a retired...


… real-time court reporter (a/k/a stenographer). For those of you who have never encountered this profession, it's truly a burn-out job -- kind of like being an NFL football player; only so many years left in the knees, right? Except in the case of a court reporter it's neurons, not ACLs.

High-end realtime court reporters are also very highly paid; that skill level is a pretty rare thing. Wife got burned out years ago, and that's when I became a nurse (I am now in my 18th year).
