This is spot on. Especially if he wants to AA - which he can.


In general - he has to work on that leg defense. It’s what led to his losses in NCAAT last year and vs. Sasso this year. A Top 8 or above opponent - will get a takedown (like Sherman) and then use their savviness and experience to engage just enough but stay away from getting mixed up with him. Heck (last year) even O’Connor made the mistake of mixing it up with Bryce and almost got pinned - once AOC switched strategy and went to leg attack, takedown, release strategy he erased the leads and came back to win.

It’s hard though because BA’s style wants you to engage - and when the engagement and scrambles happen - no one at 149 is better than him at that (although Yianni may tell me “to hold my beer”!).
