If the other computer sees the drive, you likely have a bad port on the MB


It's the only other reason (beyond having a bad SSD) that the bios wouldn't see it.

Assume you already updated the BIOS and researched whether or not the BIOS version has any issues with seeing SSDs? Sometimes even if the drives are supposed to be compatible there are defects in the BIOS version. That's just a shot in the dark, though.
