If they are saying they’ll beat us 30-0, that’s cocky


Both fan bases are passionate and supportive of their wrestlers. At times, that can be seen as cocky, us included.

The VT vs Pack rivalry is great for ACC and NCAA wrestling. Hats off to the pack, they’ve had our number the last few years except last year. Even in our losses, criteria determined the winner in a couple, I believe.

If we wrestle less than 100% effort, they could blow our doors off because they are that good. I don’t think that’ll happen though and expect fireworks in all 10 matches. We’ll cheer in some and cuss in others.
