Well our hitting was much better than Wisconsin’s and Northwestern’s.


They struck out 16 and 15 times, respectively. In all seriousness, good pitching wins out over good hitting and pitching is usually dominant early in the season in softball. Six or seven hits a game is pretty good vs. good teams.
