Obviously it surprises no one if Mekhi is going Saturday night...that's a big ol' pile of points, especially if he pulls out another win.

Korbin is no doubt semifinal capable. And as smart and seasoned as he is, who knows what could happen with the swan song.

Bolen is a returning AA. Depending on how the matches with Hidlay play out, he could be very highly seeded. Regardless, it surprises no one if he AA's again...and he's semifinal capable too.

BA is obviously a huge wild card. If he were to catch a couple guys, he could bring nice bonus and be well-rested into the quarters...where again, anything can happen.

If I told you any one of those 4 was in the semifinals, I don't think you'd be shocked. Them all making it is obviously a different story, but it's by no means crazy.
And those deep runs are where the points are...the path to 4th is more "a few deep runs" than "balanced good performance." (remember Rutgers in 2019? They came in 9th getting basically all their points from 2 wrestlers...both champions, but still)

Otherwise, as off as Latona has been, he *is* a returning AA.

Traxler unfortunately is likely going to have a tough seed because he's not going to have opportunities to make a splash the rest of the season. But he has looked great...not a threat to the top guys, but he's a seasoned swan song guy too

Otherwise, getting points of significance would be a huge surprise...but if things break mostly right with the 6 above...

(all recognizing that stuff like #2 Joey Dance getting bounced early also happens...or injury...or covid...or whatever. And that every team from 5 to 15 has their dream scenario)
