Many times, "we" disagree because one person doesn't share a religious view or a political view. As an atheist, I have no problem with most posts, and certainly don't have a problem with your post. And yet, it is important to understand why your post is "ok" - and it has nothing to do with "will stewart" at the end.

It is simply because this is not controversial. Advising someone to undertake acts more privately is good advice, regardless of your religious/political beliefs. Not everything needs to be put on the internet or social media. I may not believe that he is the son of one or more gods, but that dude Jesus had a bunch of insightful ideas that were 1000s of years ahead of his time.

Point is - there are non-controversial posts that all of us can and should accept. There were times in the past, I believe, where "we" all accepted certain truths. That has faded more recently, unfortunately. I wish "we" could get back to some semblance of that place, but "we" are headed in the exact opposite direction, I feel. And social media is partly to blame, of course.
