OK, what am I missing?

So, like most, I feel the Hokies have their work cut out for them to get an invite to the tourney. However, as the selection committee now uses the NET rankings as one of the initial factors in selection before they do their "voodoo magic", shouldn't Tech at least be in the "first 4 out" or "next 4 out" in Lunardi's latest bracketology? The Hokies have a higher NET ranking (#43) than all of the "last 4 byes" and all but one (NC at #42) of the "last 4 in". They also consider BPI (which has Tech at #22!), Sagarin (#35), and Pomeroy (#38). All rankings pretty much better than Lunardi's "last 4 byes/ins". So, if this is supposed to be more objective with a little subjectivity thrown in, why aren't we thought to be in by most prognosticators?
