The posts on here are just excuse-makers trying to explain

away a near epic collapse by VT. Pitt has no player that could make our starting 5. It's likely their big man would get minutes for us, but I'm honestly not sure any other player would beat out our top 3 bench players either. Plus Capell is useless as a coach.

In short, VT should have beat them by 20+ on Saturday, too, if not for playing and coaching like an AAU team in the second half.
