Not excusing TO’s, but I’d suspect you’ll see more in Young’s style of
play.
His O is predicated on usually using up the shot clock to find the best open, unobstructed path or shot to the basket, and of course kicking back out for the open 3.
That usually results in more passes than than what opposing teams O’s do, increasing probability / potential of TO’s somewhat.
Of course, I guess I could go look at Wofford’s TO’s statistically for comparison and theory validation.
