Also, if fans expected the new staff to continue doing things the "Beamer Way" in terms of recruiting in VA even though the VA landscape may have changed, then their perception could have become clouded because they were displeased/upset/etc. that the current staff wasn't signing enough VA players in each class. If a fan is upset that VT only signed 2 VA recruits in a class instead of 10-15, then he/she may notice the TX2VT social media slogan more and think that the coaching staff is spending more time there instead of relying on the network of 1 person.
