Happened to me. Oldest went with Uva over VT.


Ultimately it was the right choice for her, but the guidance she was getting from her HS counselors was horrendous. Basically, the message was if you get into UVa, you have to go, since it’s so prestigious. The counselor was looking to pad the school numbers.
