I thought to play point guard


She did that for a while at VT but Amore reportedly was better. Mabrey is a shooter more than a passer. Even watching her last night she would come down the floor and spot up on the perimeter, often towards the corner, looking for a pass. Great shooter with a quick release. But pretty short to be guarding the opponent's 2 guard.

Also her sister became an assistant at ND after Muffin retired I seem to remember. But not 100% certain.

The way she left VT has left a sour taste in many hokies mouths and that might include the coaching staff.
