Native of Virginia Beach. Liberty University Alum.
--Previously Head Coach at Julius Chambers High School in Charlotte, NC.
--Previously Head Coach at Indian River High School in Chesapeake, VA.
--Previously Head Coach at Lakeland High School in Suffolk, VA.
--Previously Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach at Hampton University.

This is an important hire, especially for the state of VA recruiting. Communications, relationships with high schools, official visits, unofficial visits, recruiting events, clinics, camps, etc. This may be a newly-created position. All the big-time football programs have had this position on staff for many years. Last time someone on VT staff had this included as part of their job was 10 years ago with Asst Coach Cavanaugh, but not a full-time separate job.
