While being a dentista I could not work from home and would have never

considered imbibing while seeing patients. I had a temp hygienist ( maternity leave of regular gal)who showed up a couple times in an impaired condition. She was kindly asked to leave even though it was costly to my business. Sad deal for the lady as she came from a grate family. I offered her help through our dental society “ system” but she refused. Onward. Then there was the one that was just frikkin crazy. Temps were an adventure. In my 40+ yr career we had at least 30 maternity leaves. Costly but politicians don’t give a shirt. Yeah, ding me for TOS violation but $cr&w politicians. They want to give everyone paid leave… screw the cost to small business.
