Getting sacked twice and losing that much yardage was bad but I’m guessing he didn’t want to leave time for Cinci to score again before the end of regulation- like the Chiefs did to the Bills last week. If he chucks the ball out of bounds both times, Burrow gets the ball with over a minute left.

Either way, the Chiefs choked twice while on the doorstep of the end zone and it cost them the game. 4 plays inside the 5 at the end of the 1st and 2nd half, the chiefs ran the ball 0 times and came away with 3 total points. Shades of Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX.
