I would normally agree, but given the timing, all bets are off

All the names and up and comers have been scooped up. MI is riding a high and feeling on top of the world again, thinking they are 1 step from being the next AL. Harbaugh leaves and they are standing there with no coach and staring at spring practice and promoting an assistant, knowing these opportunities are fleeting.

Meanwhile, one of the most successful coaches in recent CFB is sitting there available. Baggage and all. You know who he is, what the future likely holds...but the rationalizations will start. It will be different because we're special. He can't go to the NFL anymore. etc. When massive egos and money are involved, never say never.
