Bronco's assistants were basically family to him.


They traveled with their families from BYU out of loyalty to Bronco and many were former players with little to no coaching experience. Bronco could not bring himself to fire Howell who he had just forced the defensive changes on. Admire him in some ways for this but he went down with the ship. Hard timing but UVA will be better in the longer term with the new staff IMO.
