I'm flying out of Roanoke at 7:00 AM tomorrow and hoping I don't get

delayed. Have a real tight connection in Charlotte. Airline sent out a mass email to ticket holders on the east coast that due to the storm they would waive change fees so you could reschedule your flight. I called and told them I'd like to just cancel my Roanoke to Charlotte flight and I'd just drive down tonight and catch my scheduled flight. Airline said I couldn't do that. The waiver only applied to those who were going to re-route or re-schedule. I told the lady the only thing I wanted to do was cancel one leg of my flight. Told her I wasn't even asking for any type of refund. Nope.

Now just holding my breath that I don't get delayed in the morning leaving Roanoke.
