I read about that van claim, too. From what I read, it doesn't sound


like a very credible claim. Mainly because, in the article, they tied that claim to this guy who said he invented a machine that could search for a persons DNA by scanning the land. And in the article, it said they found Gina's DNA in several places, even claiming to have found actual remains. But I could find no other evidence of actual remains found, and believe me, if her remains were found, it would be all over the news. Not some unsubstantiated article with no references or anything. I mean, read this, it sounds great, till it sounds like a crackpot. (article attached)

But, I would suspect they are investigating that van claim for real. There was no talk of a white van in the book. And knowing lots of the case played out during hunting season, I imagine someone could mistake two guys field dressing a deer for dismembering a person. Everyone was on heightened alert, and the mind can play tricks.
