My wife felt like she'd been hit by a train for the better part of a week. Massive headaches and random chills / sweats without a noticeable fever. I ran a fever for about 5 hours and was otherwise fine for a few days. Fast forward a bit and I have some congestion and both of us are really tired but that's it.

While unvaxxed, my wife and I took many precautions. One of the players on my 7-8 bball team had their uncle come to a game covid positive. His reasoning was that he was wearing an N95 mask (idiot). We didn't know until after the game, but he sat a couple rows behind another family and my 5YO, all wearing surgical masks.

Fast forward 3 days and my 5YO is positive. 2 days later my wife is positive, next day the 5 month old, and lastly my 7YO and me. We were distanced and wearing masks, uncle was vaxxed.... none of it mattered. It doesn't with this variant.
