Tough to quantify defensive stats of being in the right place at right time

We see main stats that can be written down. The little things on defense like positioning on screen/roll, help defense, etc are for the coaches to see and evaluate. One step out of position means the difference between a basket and a turnover.

His +12 is a great reminder that he was playing well last night. He needs to gain the coach's trust now so he is able to play during crunch time.
