She's 28-54 (13-29 ACC) ... but in the last two years, is 3-18 (0-8). Ouch.
That's a long, far fall from what they used to be. Under Debbie Ryan they went to 20 straight NCAA Tournaments, and by 1990-92, they were good enough to go to three straight Final Fours, including a championship game in 1991 (which they lost 70-67 in OT).
They've been to *one* NCAA Tournament since 2010, in 2018. They haven't made it past the second round since 2000.
Meanwhile, Dawn Staley, a star player on all three of those UVA Final Four teams, has coached South Carolina to the No. 1 spot in the country. More ouch.
