He wasn't trying to rape her, or assault her, or really even harass her. He was genuinely trying (perhaps failing, but still just trying) to flirt. Just don't see how that's worth being assassinated.

Nor do I see how that is cute or funny.

Have men treated women badly in entertainment and pop culture for a long time? Yup. But to me, that is a good reason to raise standards across the board, not a good reason to kill a man because "he was asking for it."
