That would be interesting......just talked about the cultures of those


two schools earlier today, ironically. The really interesting piece about those two schools is neither administration has to convince their support bases that it will be ok having Pearl on board. They will gladly accept him, baggage and all. I would certainly not say Zero chance, however. Louisville can go toe to toe with Auburn financially, and when it comes to basketball revenue/allocation, they would dwarf anything Auburn could throw at them......Louisville is the top grossing program (ironically they battle with Kentucky each year for that). And it is really not even close. The state of Kentucky basketball culture is very different than the Alabama basketball culture, and it is more important to Louisville than it is at Auburn. If he can get Auburn to number 1, he will have no problem doing that at Louisville. Then he can do it each year in front of 22,000 per game, and 75 luxury suites filled. Chris Mack was already making more there than Pearl is at Auburn......They would make that look like chump change. But the bigger issue for UL is that they are an internal mess with no AD, and no President, which may be the biggest obstacle of anything for them in their quest for a new coach.......
