Why is Bonnie Hendrickson invoked when there is a loss


I admit I lurk but don't post on this board. That said, yes, CBH had a good run at VT but since then:
Kansas: Total 186–171 (.521) Conf. 62–121 (.339)
UC Santa Barbara: Total 62–90 (.408) Conf. 40–25 (.615) Personally, I call it 1.000 for her because Santa Barbara is just such a great place to live.

She had 2 NCAA appearances in 11 years at KU, none in 5 at UCSB.
I just don't get the love. Clearly Kansas didn't see her as a benefit, either.
