I get the sense Aluma thinks he’s way better than he is. I could be way off


base but I’ve had the sense all year he’s been disillusioned all year about his abilities and didn’t show up to this season 100%. I saw him up close against Maryland and he looked totally disinterested. The only game I’ve seen fire from him was Duke, probably not surprisingly the game he thought most scouts would be at.

He’s very talented. The commentary about these being “SoCon players” is off base. Aluma is a very skilled player. But mentally he’s not there this year.
