What’s really bullshit is the ACC’s apparent approach to wrestling with respect to Covid protocols.

How does it make sense to expect a wrestling TEAM to compete if they have to forfeit multiple weight classes (essentially guaranteeing the team loses because of the nature of wrestling scoring) yet they allow postponing football games if there isn’t sufficient depth for any single position group? There are 85 freaking football scholarships for a sport that has 11 men the field and only 9.9 for a sport that has 10 men competing in a match. If a team is forfeiting even a single weight class because of Covid protocols, that is more than equivalent to a football position group not having backups available.
