Malcolm Huckaby played basketball for BC, and Jay Alter, like many in broadcasting, went to (wait for it...) Syracuse. Neither have a diploma from NCSU, despite the recommendation that maybe they should.

Both were calling the game remotely at home, likely states away, and nowhere near the PNC Arena and NCSU last night. No one was able to buy them drinks at Amedeo's after the game for a game call well done.

Was the lopsided coverage based on VT having the initial dominant double digit point lead, or the fact that NCSU was able to (surprisingly to them) climb back into the game by early 2nd half from a deep deficit that most teams being so outmatched in the paint shouldn't be to do so from?
