Yes, I hear you on the volume scoring but a lot more to it
All these stats are considerably lower this year vs Wofford last year:
FT percentage, O/D rebounds, assists and steals both lower. He does have lower TO's but his fouls have increased.
You can say what you want but his "absolute and relative" level of production is at low end of the PG position in the conference. So maybe he was not a great fit for what we were looking for. My guess is 1 in 10 lower conference transfer guy performs at the same level when they bump up to the level Storm did. Aluma is a major outlier here.
Look, I will give you that Storm's numbers are actually worse than what I see on the court (other than his herky jerky style gives me a headache!).. his play does not look awful at all. I do get a sense of relief with Pedulla is in the game and that is an odd feeling.
Our backcourt play will be much better next year but the front court will be a disaster.
