With the transfer portal - QBs who have transferred and gotten drafted is


Because the lost a QB battle in college to another QB that Ended up on an NFL roster as well. Kind of a random event that I believe holds. Only exception I can think of is a guy who didn’t lose a battle and randomly transferred - Gardner Minchew. And maybe what happened at TAMU with Kyler Murray. Others that come to mind include:

Baker Mayfield - Mahomes
Hurts - Tua
burrow - Haskins
Webb - Mahomes
Fields - Fromm
Allen - Murray

So point is most transfer portal QBs don’t make it to the next level unless the guy in front of them is an NFL talent
