I have been to a few legit dim sum places, and was frightened. Give me that weenie Americanized stuff. Question, since you lived there ... do Chinese not like to eat other types of foods? That was what struck me as odd. There was a bit of national pride there, and of course every night I ate with a different group so they didn't know what I had been eating, but still, never a single deviation from traditional Chinese foods.
