Recruiters for mid-Atlantic

Been in upstate NY too long and want to consider/casually explore options for jobs in mid-atlantic region.

I am chem eng, technical program mgr, 15 yrs experience primarily in life science

Any tips for identifying a relevant, worthwhile recruiter - seems like a crapshoot. I turned on my linked in profile, but just spam so far. Also submitted resume to a couple recruiting sites.

In addition to the snarky comments, would appreciate ideas or contacts to ID someone.
