Given that we don't know how any of the conversations between Maddox

and the coaches will go, I'm willing to not make any assumptions about what information Maddox will or won't receive during those conversations. If the coaches are telling Maddox that he has a real good shot to see more PT next year at a couple different positions, then I'm not sure fans have any reason to doubt the coaches at this point.

However, if Maddox believes his situation won't change next year then you are right there is no reason for him to stay at VT another year.
