Their defense is what's holding them back


MY tried to use both and with Maddox he sent him in on more than one occassion. So I paid close attention to him on the defensive end. UVA used those screens extensively and too often Maddox got lost or was left guarding their 7 footer under the basket and got burned.
UVA is just a difficult matchup for young players to go up against. Pedulla and Maddox are both very young basketball wise. Their future is bright though.
