There are plenty of European clubs with money that piss it down the drain. Man U being a primary case. Then there's Chelsea that was brilliant enough to let Kevin DeBruyne go for nothing. Then there's Tottenham, too stupid to get value for Harry Kane so they try to sell at some outrageous price (that City could afford but passed on) and are getting no value from. City has money and smart ownership/management. I can see how that engenders jealousy.
