That probably depends......


on what a person defines as the criteria for a good safety. The Steelers think he is good enough to have drafted him early and kept him as a starter and/or significant contributor through his entire rookie contract. The NFL is not called the "Not For Long" league without reason and contracts are designed to get rid of those not good enough sooner rather than later.
