I've always wanted to try that.


We have a small skating rink at our neighborhood rec center and I can get up a pretty good pace going around in my $50 hockey skates when I'm the only one on the ice. I'd obviously get absolutely crushed by an Olympian, but I've often wondered if I could have been good at speed skating given the proper training and equipment. It looks fun to me.
