OT but didn't VT (engineering students) make the braces that OL men wear?


I thought I remember seeing a segment around early 2000's about that. Seeing the clip of the Wisconsin OL reminded me of it. Basically VT invented the modern padding/bracing equipment that Olinemen wear today.
