Virginia Portal Institute should have no problem hiring such analyst


I kid. Not really though.

There's got to be some kind of optimization equation that would factor in a player's skills/abilities/recruiting rankings out of HS, combined with the training/coaching/experience he received at University X, that would allow us to know which portal guys we should target and which we'd be better off avoiding. Sounds like it has the makings of a full-time job to me.
