Had a friend whose son went to TN as a catcher


Due to limited scholarships unless you are a Ace pitcher you won't get a full scholarship.
As i recall Martin who played HS baseball with my son, only got books.
He played two years and quit. baseball schedule is also brutal on academics.
He transferred to AL ( where his dad teaches Law) but hung up his cleats.

NCAA really needs to allow an expansion of baseball scholarships. States like GA which offers free tuition to any student accepted with B average have a huge recruiting advantage. GA can give whole baseball team free tuition based on academics if grades good enough.
