You are exactly right. No question it is jealousy that SEC is able...


to effectively guarantee themselves a NC most every year because of the things you mention. But I'm 100% with you that they are ruining college football and I don't really care if it's jealousy or not, it's true. It's almost unfair that Bama and UGA get about 25% of the 5 star players every year. How can anyone else compete?

Maybe they need to limit scholarship players even more to guarantee that more good players get spread out to more schools.

Think about it, UC was starting a 2 star QB yesterday in a CFP game against a team that probably has 3-5 star QBs on it's current roster. UC's running back was so deep on the Bama bench that he had to transfer and he is an awesome running back (saw him many times this year).

I never understood why 3-4 5 star players would all go to the same school for the same position. But I guess they are all so good that they think that they will be the starter.

Bottom line, whether it's jealousy or not, SEC is running college football (at least for anyone not in the SEC).
