Pretty sure the answer is the scuffle is now treated like the Edinboro open


Look at all teams entries - mostly backups and few starters sprinkled in

Starters mostly that want to boost their rpi

If Hunter hadn't of lost of lost 2 Lowe he probably wouldn't be there - the real question is why is he there ? - maybe build up tourney lungs ?

College wrestling has evolved to a take care of your resume and your body sport

Most teams are only going to send guys to 1 competitive multi day weigh in event and then hit conference duals

Heck , I don't think Oklahoma state even did a competitive, multi day weigh in event this year
