Serious ?: Did the coaches have any idea we'd get destroyed...and if so..


So, I've heard a few former pros talking about going into a game and knowing they were going to get destroyed.

I know no coach will say that publicly and that they'll do their best to prep and win the game, but I wonder if they had any idea that VT would just get dismantled? If they thought it was a possibility.

And if so, why not let BB3 start? If it's a hard and fast team policy, that once you declare for the portal, you're out, then that makes sense, but he was willing to play, and he would have given us the best chance to win.
