Of course it was players he recruited. I never denied that. I said

blaming him for the loss today makes about as much sense as giving him credit if we had won (or for the UVA win if you want things that actually happened). I have no idea why you're talking about "if we had hired someone 6 years ago". That has zero bearing on what I'm saying. And part of the reason for the talent level today was players opting out well after Fuente was fired. Is that also his fault? Or do the players bear responsibility? What about BB who wanted to play was told he couldn't by the "administration"? Fuente's fault too? Absurd is trying to blame everything on someone who has had no direct impact on the program for almost two months. And someone, that I might add, was fired and thus had no choice in the matter regarding preparing the team for those games.
