my neighbor across the street is a nurse in Loudoun County and says the hospitalization numbers being reported are '100% not true' and has no idea where those numbers are coming from. She works at two different facilities and neither are having issues with regular or ICU beds. She contacted nurses from other facilities who said the same is true there.

The numbers reported are not always accurate - I remember her telling me the same thing in June of 2020 when there were reports of hospitals that were full in Loudoun.

It is true that ER waits in the county are up significantly because so many people are trying to go to the ER to get tested for COVID because they can't get tests or appointments anywhere else.
