We don't get the money directly. The ACC does, then it goes into

revenue sharing. Bowl participants get a chunk that non-bowl participants do not get, but it is part of the conference payout. Because the ACC takes part in negotiating who goes to which bowl. The bowl doesn't decide call by itself.
