I think every team should just simply get an extra game and let it be an


open market. If two teams in the same conference from opposite divisions want to play each other during the season, let them do it.

Let bowl cities compete for the best possible match ups. "Conference tie-ins" make for worse matchups and less fan interest.

And I would totally watch a game between two 0-12 teams out of morbid curiosity. The American Standard Toilet Bowl. An instant hit.
